Who can compete at the CFC?

Anyone can compete. If you are a trained chef, a home cook or a foodie, the competition is open to all Canadian residents. For detailed information click here.

How do I compete in the Canadian Food Championships?

There are many Automatic and Preferred Qualifying Events throughout Canada where you can earn your way to the CFC through or you can apply for a Wild Card Entry and cross your fingers!

Is there an entry fee to compete?

There is a $100 +gst entry fee to compete in the CFC. You can receive benefits for signing up as a volunteer and taking one volunteer shift, please contact Anita Kelm for more information. Winning a Preferred Qualifier will gain you free entry into the CFC.
